Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with at least 55% marks in Science subjects and should possess either:
- ITI Certification in relevant trade or National/State Trade Certification.
- Experience: Candidates with work experience of 2-3 years in relevant trade sectors can also apply.
Selection Process
The selection process for recruitment of Technicians (1) under the Central Leather Research Institute, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research consists two stages, which are as follows:
- Trade Test: Candidates who will apply for recruitment of Technician (1) under CSIR-CLRI will be called for the Trade Test, which is qualifying in nature.
- Written Exam: Individuals who will qualify the Trade Test will be called for the Written Exam. There will be their paper; Paper 1 will be qualifying, only Paper 2 and Paper 3 scores will be used to select candidates.

In order to apply for recruitment of Technicians (1) under the CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute, a male candidate who belongs to UR, OBC or EWS is required to deposit the application fee of ₹500/- through SBI Collect ONLINE / SBI Branch. Female, PwBD and male individuals who belong to SC/ST are exempted from the fee payment.

- Eligible candidates are required to apply only through ONLINE APPLICATION in the link available on CSIR-CLRI’s website https://www.clri.org . Instruction to fill up Online Application is also given in the CSIR-CLRI website.
- If the candidate does not have a valid email id, he/she should create a new email id before applying online.
- The candidate has to register with his / her name, email-id and password.
- Candidates who wish to apply for more than one Post Code, must submit separate Online Application form for each Post Code along with Application Fee thereof (if applicable).
- After successful registration, the candidate has to login using the credentials and fill up the Online application form.
